This Privacy Policy explains how Codesquare (“we”, “our”, or “StoreOS”) collects, uses, protects, and discloses personal information through our web portal, mobile applications (iOS and Android), hardware clients, and APIs.

1. Overview & Scope

Codesquare StoreOS (accessible at store.codesquare.fun) is an enterprise retail Point of Sale (POS), repair workshop management, and serialized warehouse management platform operated by Codesquare. This policy applies to:

  • Merchants, store owners, technicians, and cashiers utilizing the StoreOS portal or desktop/mobile clients.
  • End-customers whose service tickets, invoices, and device diagnostic records are processed on the platform by authorized repair shops.
  • Visitors to our marketing website, public tracking URLs, and digital status pages.

2. Information We Collect

We collect information strictly necessary to provide high-speed retail checkout, repair diagnostic intake, warranty tracking, and regulatory tax compliance:

Merchant & Staff Data

Business name, owner contact details, physical address, GSTIN tax identification, login email, encrypted authentication credentials, and staff role assignments.

Customer Service Records

Customer name, mobile phone number (for WhatsApp/SMS ticket tracking and invoice delivery), device brand, model, physical condition notes, and intake signatures.

Device Hardware Identifiers

Device Serial Numbers and IMEI identifiers required exclusively to verify warranty eligibility, prevent duplicate claims, and match replacement spare parts.

Diagnostic Inspection Media

Pre-repair condition photos, screen scratch canvas drawings, and technical hardware verification test logs uploaded by technicians during inward inspection.

3. Mobile Device & Hardware Permissions

When utilizing StoreOS applications on Android, iOS, or handheld POS terminals, we may request the following system permissions:

  • Camera: Used exclusively to scan barcodes, QR codes on job sheets, and take physical diagnostic photos of devices during customer inward intake.
  • Storage / Photo Library: Used to attach existing inspection images or save generated PDF invoices and warranty certificates locally.
  • Bluetooth / Network (LAN): Required to discover and transmit raw ESC/POS commands to wireless receipt printers, cash drawers, and barcode scanners.

We do not track continuous device GPS location, and camera access is never activated in the background.

4. Transactional WhatsApp & SMS Notifications (Meta Compliance)

Customer phone numbers collected at service intake are used strictly for service-critical, transactional communications:

  • Digital Job Sheet confirmation & live tracking URL delivery.
  • Revised cost estimation approval requests (technician bench findings).
  • “Ready for Pickup” alerts and digital GST invoice receipts.
  • Workmanship warranty status updates.

We do not sell, rent, or trade customer phone numbers to third-party marketing brokers. Customers may opt out of automated WhatsApp alerts by informing the workshop technician or replying with STOP.
